Learn how to be a stand-up comedian in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment with Jeff Innocent, an award-winning comedian who has been a headline act on the international comedy circuit for over twenty years.
Maybe you want to pursue stand-up comedy as a career or hobby. Maybe you want to gain confidence with public speaking or making presentations. Or perhaps you have already done a few gigs and now want to hone your skills. All are welcome.
Course overview
On the final session the students put on a show where they get to perform a 5 minute stand up routine to an invited audience of friends and family on the legendary Up The Creek stage.
During the course, you will also be invited as guests to a Sunday evening show at Up the Creek, to gain inspiration from watching professional comedians.

About Jeff

Jeff Innocent has been a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer for over 20 years, and still performs stand-up at the highest level all over the world. He has won or been nominated for countless awards, including British Comedian of the Year and Best Live Comic at the UK Comedy Awards. Jeff is an experienced comedy tutor having run regular workshops at universities, prisons, and corporate events. He has previously lectured on stand-up at The London Comedy School.
